Charismatic Bigots Lobby Ghanaian Parliament

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) says as a member of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values, it fully participated and supported the drafting of the anti-LGBTQI bill currently before Parliament.

In a statement, the GPCC expressed gratitude to the Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, who has thrown his weight behind the bill, and “our courageous members of Parliament promoting the passage of the bill into law."

GPCC officially stated its position amid the mixed reactions that greeted the bill and said it will resist any attempt to officially introduce homosexuality into the country.

  1. As Thorstein Veblen, the U.S. economist pointed out, getting something for nothing is a widely shared ambition and the authority that comes with paternity is a much favored example. It is unfortunate that the human male is dependent on compliant females to achieve otherwise effortless social standing. So, it is understandable that males who have nothing else going for them resent non-compliant females, as well as those who encourage them.
I used to think heterosexual males would appreciate not having to compete with homosexuals for the attention of females, until I realized that friendship can be more attractive than a mate. Besides, homosexuals tend to be creative in other ways.
