Another four schools in Birmingham (England) have stopped teaching their pupils that it is ok for two people of the same sex to be married or to be partners because of complaints by Muslim parents who believe same-sex loving relationships to be evil. This follows the capitulation of Parkfield School to the demands of Muslim parents who protested outside of the school and withdrew their children from the school because it was teaching respect for diversity.
There comes a time when the number of people migrating from an alien cultural background into a new country and their offspring becomes adequate to influence political decisions. We have reached that point in respect of Muslims in England. It is an issue that needs to be addressed, not stifled by accusations of racism being flung at anyone who dares to be frightened that we may lose many of the human rights that we have fought for over many years, especially in regard to women and LGBT people.
