There is a fuss being stirred up in England, mostly by the liberal press, about the fact that house prices have risen so much over the last forty years or so that young adults can no longer afford to get on even the lowest step of the housing ladder.
"Is this the fault of the baby boomers?" ask the breast-beaters with the enthusiasm to assume publically expressed guilt that only the liberal elite can muster.
The answer is, no it is not. Well, no more so than everybody else who has allowed unchecked capitalism to completely dominate our nation's economy since the election of Margaret Thatcher. If you do not like what capitalism inevitably leads to then vote for a planned economy. It is that simple. Don't blame your woes on people who you would emulate at the drop of a hat given half a chance.
