Durham Diocese Prop Up Church Attendance League

According to data analysed by The Manchester Evening News, Durham in the north east of England is the diocese (my diocese) where Christians are least likely to go to a service of the Church of England. Just one in eighty-one Christians attended an Anglican church in Durham in 2014, a fall of nearly ten per cent since 2009.

If it would help them out I would be quite happy for the diocese to include Saint Laika's Sunday attendance figures to theirs as the podcast is produced on their patch. That would bump the numbers up quite considerably. Of course, it would entail having to acknowledge my ministry and I have a strong suspicion that they would rather fade into insignificance as a diocese than do that.
