From ALL AFRICA:
The Archbishop of Kaduna Anglican Diocese, Most Rev. Edmund Akanyan, yesterday, said rather than blame politicians totally for the country's woes', the Church should be blamed, having drifted from God's way and disappointed Him like the Israelites who were consequently punished. The Archbishop noted that Nigerians could overcome the challenges if Christians repent of their sins and return to God.
Wow, thank goodness the English diocesan synods voted against making a covenant with these people. They could have dragged us all down with them.
This repentance, do you think it might involve turning their backs on arrogant tub thumping, tribalism, homophobia, causing division and misogyny? Probably not.
