Since I last updated you on the progress of the MadPriest Express very little has happened. The train has only managed to travel forward two notches. In other words I have raised an extra £10 per month.
Having said that I have received a couple of non-subscription donations that have helped tremendously. I am always grateful for such irregular acts of generosity, I really am, but I need to build up the pledges in order to have some stability in my income so that I can plan my finances. Therefore, if you do not want to sign up to a subscription via PayPal but would still like to donate something each month, please drop me an email to tell me the minimum amount you wish to send each month. I will then add your pledge to the MadPriestExpressometer (see bottom of post).
I have received some very good advice from a good friend of ours who has an "ology" in this sort of thing and I will be implementing his recommendations over the coming days and weeks.
However, there is no need to wait for the changes before you join my grumpy old band of supporters. Here's the widget for you to sign up right now. Click on the option button and you will see that you can make a donation of between £5 per month and £50 per month (in multiples of £5). Click on the amount you wish to send each month and then follow the instructions. You should not need a PayPal account to use this facility. If you wish to make a lower pledge or, if you have just won your national lottery or come into a fortune some other way, a higher pledge, please use the widget in the right hand sidebar under "MadPriest Is Appealing."
And here is the cheap graphic showing you how far the MadPriest Express has travelled and how far it has still got to go before I am a happy, contented and far less angry Internet priest.
