MEANWHILE ON THE STEPS OF ST. PAUL’S

From Kathryn Rose (THE ARTSY HONKER):

On Friday we will have Evensong outside St Paul's. While the Cathedral has said they will be open for worship, I don't believe they are having Evensong tomorrow, so I want to go ahead with this. It's the day for St Simon and St Jude, apostles.

Meet at 6.15pm for 6.30; outside M&S seems to be a reasonable place for it, although we may need to move (especially if there are enough of us to obstruct the walkway).

Details of the liturgy (print out your own copy if you are attending) can be found on Kathryn's website.

In any battle there are heroes who get the medals and all the media attention and then there are those quiet heroes who just get on with changing the world humbly and with no desire for celebrity. Kathryn is one of those quiet heroes. Whilst the Chapter of St. Paul's has been digging a grave for Christianity over the last week, she has been busy throwing the soil back in by arranging these services of ordinary Christianity outside in the cold among the people.

  1. Huzzah and God bless, Kathryn!

Exceptionally well-said, MP. Huzzah to you, too. 🙂
