1. I’ll have to read it. I’m proud to be a member of the craft. I had a great lodge in Seattle that was really focused on service and brotherhood and I’ve found a good lodge here in the Chicago area. Its an important part of my life that I never talk about with the OCICBW…/Episcopal crowd. People get weird about it.

Before Rowan turned his back on equality and tolerance and embraced the bigots he first let loose with an attack on the craft, of which he understood nothing. Nevermind that previous archbishops of Canterbury have been proud to wear the apron as a Mason, Rowan had to let loose with some lies about the lodge.

Thanks for the plug for the craft. I don’t know what it is like in England but maybe there is a progressive lodge near you. No man is ever asked to join. You have to ask but I suspect that in England, as in the US, there is a real search for new members. Give it some thought. And thanks for the review. I will have to add this one to my library of books on masonry. (my favorite remains MacNulty’s Freemasonry: symbols, secrets, significance. It added a lot to my journey in the craft)
