University Staff To Be Sacrificed

The government and employers would have acted far more sensibly from the outset of the pandemic if those making the decisions were legally liable for the results of their decisions. I am sure that the university vice-chancellors currently overriding their staff’s decision not to teach in person, would be less likely to do so if there was a threat of successful legal actions being made against them by the families of the members of staff who end up dead because of a bullish insistence on keeping the student pound coming in.
