The Death Of Christendom Complete

I fear that in much of the "developed" world, this pandemic will mark the moment when the Christian religion became a hobby - a pastime no different in type to playing football in the park or going down the pub. It is certainly the end of the idea that the clergy have a special pastoral role to play in society.

All our hope in medical science is now founded.

Secular humanism and an overwhelming fear of death have won the day.
