Brexiting Badly

Most of the people who voted to leave the EU knowingly voted for a no-deal Brexit.

There was never any possibility that the EU would give the UK a deal that was substantively more advantageous than deals offered to other non-EU countries.

Our government has wasted millions of pounds and, by concentrating on Brexit alone, has allowed the country to go to rack and ruin, attempting the impossible. It would have been far more sensible and financially prudent to have concentrated all efforts on preparing for a no-deal Brexit from the word go and then started trade negotiations with the EU after we had left it.
