So, Scottish Episcopal Church priests are going to have to decide, individually, whether to not to opt into marrying same gender couples in church.
This is going to be a very difficult moral choice for all of them. A huge decision that will affect the rest of their working lives.
I mean, are they going to go with their consciences and marry all those gay couples from all over the UK who will be booking their churches for their nuptials in order to gain great happiness and fulfilment in their lives and experiencing the true love of God and maybe even finding salvation for their eternal souls. Or, do they pretend they are against such things so that they can continue to have Saturdays off to go to the footie or the opera, that sort of thing.
As I said, what a choice!
