The small, spick and span, seaside resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea hides itself well from the fuming towers of Cleveland's chemical works and provides, at least the idea, of a breath of fresh air, for cash strapped local people and staycationers from further afield. It is less than an hour's drive from where we live.
