I returned from a brief visit down south for the occasion of my mother's ??th birthday to discover a letter from the bishop of my diocese had arrived during my absence. I now have permission to officiate in the diocese if and when I am asked to. I have no idea where this will lead to.
Wow! Great news. I hope it leads to good things.

Wonderful news!!!
Thanks be to God, and WOOHOO!!
This is wonderful news, Jonathan! I hope it leads to a meaningful vocation for you and a brighter future. You obviously have a gift for preaching and teaching and based on my quasi-heretical understanding, the church would be a better institution with you in it as an active priest. Jewish carpenters rule!
