Yes, it's official. People who donate to the Saint Laika 2014 Advent Appeal are a lot cleverer than anybody else.
And you don't have to take our word for it. This often suspected fact has been verified by the highly respected mathematician, Professor Addup of the Newcastle Upon Tyne School of Sums (part of the North East Early Learning Centre and Creche). He studied the intellectual capabilities of all those who have so far donated to the fund this year and compared their IQ to the same number of randomly selected Sunderland Football Club fans. His results were overwhelmingly conclusive. Saint Laika supporters scored higher on all subjects (except football and TV soaps) than Black Cats supporters.
Therefore, if you consider yourself to be more cleverer than a mackem soccer fan you will obviously want to contribute to the rapidly growing amount in the Appeal coffers as soon as possible.
And it's incredibly easy to do this. So easy that a soccer fan from Sunderland could work out how to do it (although, to be honest, it is unlikely that any will bother after this post). You just click on the PayPal link below and follow the instructions. You don't even need your own PayPal account to make a donation.
Don't worry, you will not be alone in your selfless generosity. So far, thanks to my extremely well educated friends, Donna, Carol, James. Margaret, Sara, Mark, and Noel, we have reached a staggering...
Which means there is only a mere £615.00 to go and we will have reached our target and be heading off into unchartered waters of intelligent giving.
