An American archbishop has defended a Catholic school’s decision to sack a teacher after it learned of his same-sex marriage. Archbishop Peter Sartain of Seattle the school’s decision was not discriminatory but held to Church teaching and the school’s Catholic mission.
Which is discriminatory. If it wasn't discriminatory then, logically, it could not be employed as a reason to dismiss someone. They would have dismissed the teacher for no reason whatsoever. I expect a better knowledge of the English language from an archbishop of Seattle.
