Worship At St. Laika’s To Commemorate St. Mungo

In the Western tradition the feast day of Saint Kentigern (Mungo), the patron saint of Glasgow, salmon and those accused of infidelity, was yesterday. But yesterday at Saint Laika's we were busy celebrating the life of George Fox. So, to give every saint their due, I decided to follow the Eastern tradition and celebrate Mungo today instead. And I've done so in style by cobbling together a rather beautiful service of night prayer (compline) which, I hope, gives the great man the proper amount of respect that he is due.
