From THE TELEGRAPH:
Fans with a religious devotion to The Boss may want to sign up to Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey, where a series of lectures has been dedicated to exploring the singer's interpretation of the Bible.
Azzan Yadin-Israel, a professor of Jewish studies and classics at the university, is leading the semester-long course. Titled Bruce Springsteen's Theology, the course examines the "theological influences that underpin the apparently secular themes in the rock icon's lyrics".
The university was originally going to offer a course on a rockstar who thinks he's god but the choice of subjects was too extensive and they couldn't agree on who to go for.
