TWO WONGAS DON’T MAKE A RIGHT

From FOX NEWS:

Papiss Cisse
Will not wear Wonga shirt
because he's a good Muslim.
But happy to wear Virgin
shirt, probably for the
same reason.

Papiss Cisse has withdrawn from Newcastle's pre-season tour of Portugal after refusing to wear club sponsor Wonga's logo on religious grounds, the BBC reported Wednesday. The Senegal striker, a Muslim, told club officials he was not prepared to promote Wonga, a firm which offers short-term, high-interest loans. Islamic law forbids borrowing or paying money with interest. However, the 28-year-old did offer to wear an unbranded shirt or one bearing a charity logo instead.

Actually, it's also against Christian law as well. But do we give a damn? Nah! We're only worried about the law in respect of gay people.

  1. I don’t know MP, I view this as on opportunity! OCICBW is not a charity, but perhaps with the right sales job, he’d sport the OCICBW jersey in the interests of justice! One of you bi-peds, make us up a powerpoint presentation, we’re gonna go see Papiss!
