MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL, WHOIS THE MOST HARD DONE BY OF ALL?

Is there anybody in the USA who does not believe that they are in an oppressed minority? There does seem to be a constant competition going on as to which group of people is the most oppressed. This must cause huge problems for American liberals who are repeatedly faced with choosing who to defend against injustice. Whose side are you on when it's hispanic versus black or black versus gay? The irony is that the USA has its hallowed constitution which should be the perfect mechanism for bringing all the disparate groups together into a reasonably workable accommodation of each other. But no, the groups spend most of their time picking fights with each other over the constitution.

  1. There was this troll at Joe.My.God. yesterday, saying that “if Trayvon Martin feared George Zimmerman was pursuing him, ipso facto, Martin thought Zimmerman was gay. If you defend Martin, ipso facto, [I’m not making this up!] you’re anti-gay.”

    Oy vey. {head -> desk}

    [I should say, the troll was OVERWHELMINGLY rejected by the denizens of JMG.]
