THE MADGANG GO TO LOCHWINNOCHAND OTHER SCOTTISH STUFF

The MadGang have popped up the road to North Ayrshire for a few days. We've spent most of the time in our caravan keeping out of the torrential rain. But we did get to meet our friend, Christine and her husband, John. Christine runs the legendary "Blethers" blog which is so much better than "What's In Kelvin's Head."

Here are a few photos of the trip so far. Wi-Fi is difficult to access in these remote parts and I'm having to use Mrs MP's mobile hot spot (I'll let JCF make the inappropriate comments about that). Therefore, I don't have much bandwidth to play with and you'll have to wait until I'm back home for captions etc.

  1. Wonderful pictures. I am so thankful that you shared them with us…Were your feet as muddy at the kids? They are so beautiful. Pardon me while I go hug Molly.

    • Nowhere near as mucky, Jay. But then Mrs MP and myself tend not to run around in cow fields and bogs like they so enjoy doing.

  2. I’m having to use Mrs MP’s mobile hot spot (I’ll let JCF make the inappropriate comments about that).

    The honor is to serve—

If it’s mobile, Old Man, I’m surprised you can catch up to it! [I credit help from the dogs]

  3. Open the webbing of your paw,
To dig into the Semple Loch mud,
    Flop into it w/ a MP-defying thud,
    While JCF sez “Aw!”

Nice pics, MP. [Love Quiz’s “One Flap Down” ears!]

    • We’ve just arrived home, waterlogged. We had to be towed out of a campsite in Darvel as it was so muddy. Back home in County Durham I am now looking at blue sky. The Scottish Tourist Board should pay people to visit.

But it was all worth it to meet up with you two on Monday. Definitely the highlight of the week.
