THE AMISH ARE EVERYWHERE

Or so it seems to me. There was a time when the Amish were a reclusive group of people who avoided contact with the big, bad world as much as possible. Now they are all over the place. If they’re not appearing in reality TV shows and documentaries they are making headlines for being the defendants in bizarre court cases involving the forcible chopping off of beards. One thing is for certain, if Harrison Ford needs somewhere to hide out again, the last place he should consider is an Amish community.

From ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY:

Stop, collaborate, and listen: Ice is back with a brand new reality show. It’s called Vanilla Ice Goes Amish, and it’s about — you guessed it — professional punchline Vanilla Ice (a.k.a.That’s My Boy star Rob Van Winkle) learning construction from an Amish community in Ohio.
