I gave up smoking simply because I felt guilty about accepting friends' charity and then spending it on a habit none of them would approve of.
I have been miserable everyday since. I do wonder why people place living longer above everything else. In particular why are people who believe in eternal life in paradise so intent on spending as much time
on this godforsaken planet as possible - especially if they can't smoke.
MP—Jon—I’m hearing “black dog” here [I do hate that phrase, as I love black Labs so much!]. At any rate, hie thee to your wonderful NHS (just watched Michael Moore’s “Sicko” last night, Le Sigh) for a review of your treatment. Please. [Been There, Done That myself.]
I don’t think any medic could help me get my job back.
A. I’m serious about this, Jon. Don’t change the subject. With love: GET YOUR HEAD EXAMINED.’
B. God loves you for who you ARE, not what you do. You’ve got a twisted ecclesiology, if you think that God won’t love you if you’re not “doing the job” of a priest. With or without a job, God’s Grace is freely offered: take it!
It’s not that complicated. I’m unhappy because I’ve been stopped from doing what I want to do.
And could we all (here at OCIBCW) please pray for our friend It’s Margaret? http://leaveitlay.blogspot.com/2013/03/ready-for-mud-and-saliva.html
