From NATIONAL POST:
There may not be a Canadian-born pope, but Nova Scotian Jay Wells’ found another holy claim to fame. The salon owner found Jesus — or a wood-knot that looks a lot like him, at least — as staff was rearranging furniture at the Halifax business.
“I had a staff member leave and so I came into this room thinking, hmm, what am I going to do now, and I sat on the end of this bed and I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s Jesus!’”
A Saugus man said he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Jesus Christ on a drop cloth at his home.
“My heart went a million miles an hour. I was hyperventilating. A crown or a halo. Two eyes. Mustache (sic), nose, there’s the chin, jaw line. His right arm out like that with cloths he was buried in hanging down. I can't deny this. This is what it is. It looks like Jesus Christ,” said Brian Krantz.
