BEIBER FAN DISCOVERED AT UNIVERSITY

That is just so insulting. I can think of nothing worse than being accosted in the street and accused of liking Justin Beiber. I mean, what would people think of me. If I was a Justin Beiber fan I would, most certainly, keep that fact well and truly locked away in the closet.

But what I don't understand is how a Justin Beiber fan managed to pass the exams to get into college.

BEIBER FAN DISCOVERED AT UNIVERSITY — 3 Comments

  1. The student in question seems to be denying that he was a Justin Beiber fan and asserts that he was deeply hurt by the accusation.

    Wouldn’t anyone?

But maybe the “preacherman” was projecting, in which case he may have wandered on to the campus precisely because — as a Beiber fan himself — he couldn’t pass the entrance exams.

We may never know the whole truth about this.

  2. [Kind of amazing that reporters kept saying “USA” like everybody would know what that is (NOT the United States of America!). The location tag “Mobile” finally indicated it must be the University of Southern Alabama—my literary-famous once-almost-girlfriend teaches there! ;-)]

This kind of thing has been going on for DECADES in the (um) USA. I experienced it 30 years ago at UC Davis (the Phelps phu#kers learned this tactic well, and branded it w/ their own slogans and logos—and lawyers). I think the best thing is really to ignore them: they LIVE for the publicity.
