  1. Actually lots of us Americans can’t figure out if this is satire. You’d think it would have to be, unless you’ve seen things like it that were not. Things much more desperate and culturally tone deaf.

  2. It doesn’t really matter because it’s funny if it’s satire and it’s accidentally hilarious if it isn’t. The problem I have is that it’s well catchy and I’m now walking round the house singing “Jesus Christ is my nigga” to myself.

  3. Watched the entire thing, twice, and this runs firmly afoul of Poe’s Law.

    From what I’ve seen, it isn’t something which applies to Euro-Xtians much, so you would consider it as parody/satire. Unfortunately, I know too many ‘well-meaning’ Xtains who would consider that a rather mild and real attempt to connect with the ‘youth’.

  4. There is some discussion stateside as to the propriety of using the “N” word, however I don’t find this nearly as offensive as other stuff that fundamentalists put out. And while it is embarassing I’ve seen enough over here to say that this isn’t satire at all.
