AND A SON WHO HAS MURDERED HIS BROTHER

A friend of mine over on Facebook recommended that I watch this because I was obviously having trouble getting my head round Christian marriage. I'm so glad I did because I was obviously basing my remarks on the false doctrine that God is love and we should love one another. PTL Mrs Bowers was there to put me straight, so to speak.

AND A SON WHO HAS MURDERED HIS BROTHER — 3 Comments

  1. Totally awesome. I’m reading the entire bible from beginning to end this year (last I did this I was still working for E.I duPont company!) and have rediscovered that Abraham pawned his wife off as his sister twice, to two different rulers, to save his own life. The second time he said, “But she really is my sister, or rather, my half-sister!” And she was!
Then, as I though I remembered, Abraham’s son, Isaac, did what his father did, for the same reason – passed off Rebekah as his sister, only this time he was lying. She was his first cousin (at least, so far as I can figure out). Makes my head ache.
Now I’m halfway through the Jacob story. For my sins.

Trust me, you don’t want to know what the wv is for this comment. You lot would make it out to mean something else.
