  1. The Willis were maidens who, having fallen in love and been “done wrong”, wasted away and died before they could be married. Doomed to haunt the woods from midnight to 4 they lure young men to their doom, in revenge for how they’d been treated before they could be married.

    There’s a lesson in that for this thread, I think.
