WITH ALL YOUR SOUL – THE PODCAST (11)

I'm quite a bit chirpier than usual this week and my delivery has speeded up a lot. I'm also pleased with the mixing and editing. As for the music, I won't comment on that until the scores come in from the Thibodaux judge, although I have a feeling the Carmen McRae should swing it in my favour.

  1. Can the world survive a chirpy empy? ;-/

But f’realz, happy for you Crazy @rse. Maslov’s “Heirarchy of Needs” lower rungs being covered is a BIG help!

    Off to download…

  2. Not to nitpick, but you said, “quite a bit chirpier”. I’m just saying.

LOL! The Great Leap Forward from 1952 to 1957. All good so far. Love Little Walter.

WV: “stompto”. There’s a creepy intelligence behind them.

  3. I am so proud of myself! I finally burned a disk (two actually) of one of your podcasts. I couldn’t accomplish the task on my creaky old computer, but I succeeded on my laptop. Now I can delete the podcasts from my computer and play them in my computer and in my car. Yay!

I haven’t finished listening yet, because I was busy burning.

  4. Excellent selection. My very favorites are several at the beginning and several toward the end. You’ve also mixed in wonderful jazz and Latin tracks. Carmen McRae and a good many others swung it in your favor, Chirpy MadPriest.

  5. Thanks, Lois. I knew you would appreciate the show starting off with “Love Train.” In my mind’s eye I was imagining a younger Lois, getting on down on the disco floor, as I was recording.

  6. And I’m back again today! And younger? I AM younger! Younger than someone, somewhere, I’m sure. Nice mix of “dance floor” and smooth stuff. Wears well, MP.
