THE PRAYER LIST — 13 Comments

  1. Please can I ask for prayer for a friend of mine? ‘N’ had breast cancer last year and was successfully treated for it. At the end of the year she was in remission. Sadly last week she found out it has spread to her spine and is not curable (although is treatable in the short term). Today she is having a scan to see if it has spread further. I know she would really appreciate all prayers. She is not prepared to give in to this… there is more info on my blog..
    thank you

  2. I see a doctor on Friday. Pray that I can get the head meds I need at that time? [I’m tired of feeling like my brain has a “Denver Boot” on it. >:-/]

Prayers ascending for all in need (esp. Red’s friend “N”—and Kirstin. Effing cancer!)

  3. The furnace quit tonight. My heart condition appears to be back and there is no medical help until May. I dunno, how about me for a prayer candidate?

  4. Thank you for your prayers, hugely appreciated – a quick updaye N’s scan showed the lungs are clear but the liver has a possible area of doubt so she’s having an MRI on Thursday.
    thanks again

  5. Good news (great praying) the heat is back to working and it won’t be a big bill.

    Thanks be to heaven!

  6. I offer the assurance of my prayers to all here.

Please pray for my assistant, Cynthia, who is now down with the horrible cough I had last week.

    Love and blessings to all.

  7. ‘kay, a woman I’ve had my eye on for a couple of months and I are “going to the movies” later this afternoon.

Is it a date? Is it not a date? I don’t know, but I’d love your prayerful regards either way!

[Yes, my Virtual Chaperones, she’s an Episcopalian! ;-)]

  8. My non-date date is now postponed to Saturday . . . but I actually feel better about it! 🙂 [Saturday—her idea—is a more date-ish time than a Wednesday afternoon, wouldn’t you say? Plus, I *think* we’ll have more time to spend.]

Listen, when it’s been as long as it has for me w/o even a maybe-date, you’ll take ANYTHING you can get! ;-p

  9. Dear, dear friends,

Please pray earnestly for my eldest niece, Katie, and her her husband, Ben. They have recently entered marriage counseling and, according to my sister-in-law, things sound pretty bad. Their third child was just born on March 13 and so the pressures on this young family are considerable. I promised Susan (my sister-in-law) that I’d contact all the prayer warriors I know as she’s deeply worried.

    Thank you all.

  10. Prayers for you and yours, Ellie.

I got meds! Yay! [Wasn’t crazy about the doctor—but better than nothing, as I know only too well!]
