WITH ALL YOUR SOUL – THE PODCAST (1) — 23 Comments

  1. The tone of your introductory comment has a suggestion of the sinister about it. Just sayin’. 🙂

I’m just starting to listen and have only heard the first couple of songs, so I’ll report back when I’ve heard more.

  2. Nobody dies of the music itself – just the stuff that tends to go with it. So I think you’re safe with my podcast (except for the subliminal advertising that keeps repeating “Buy via MadPriest’s Amazon link . . .”)

  3. Nobody dies of the music itself….

I could be the first. I can see the headline in the local newspaper, “Old woman dead from overdose of soul music.”

    You’re religiously inclined? Who knew?

Ever thought of looking for work as a DJ?

  4. It’s a midterm goal of my move into self-employment. I have the expertise in and experience of promoting discos but I will have to save up to finance the venture. Once its off the ground it should help finance my ministry.

  5. Well, I hope the plan works out. You have the knowledge and the know-how.

I’ve got to stop listening now, but I marked my spot. So far the selections are excellent. I’m downloading, too. If you could supply a written list of songs and artists, that would be perfect.

  6. I know of it’s existence but I don’t listen to it. I don’t listen to the radio much as I have so much of my own music to listen to. The only US station I listen to regularly is WFMU.

  7. It’s a midterm goal of my move into self-employment.

Has this been mentioned previously and I just missed it? … If not, were you going to mention it at some point, Mad Priest?

  8. Well, thanks for ignoring that question, Jonathan. I was only asking for the same reason anyone would, that we’d all like to help.

  9. Mrs MP is on holiday, Cathy. We are enjoying some quality time together. Hence the lack of posts on the blog and the fact that I’m not sitting at the computer all day like I normally do.

But, to be honest I don’t know what you are asking. I’ve blogged about having to go self-employed and the concert and disco promotion stuff is just something I’ve had in mind since I lost my job, to top up the money I hope to get from blogging and writing. I don’t think about the future that much but I do have some vague sort of plans which are based on real possibilities.

I’ll be back again in the morning.

An answer like that is all I was looking for.
