HYPOCRITE OF THE YEAR 2010

We have a winner!

A certain Church of England bishop tells an assistant priest he is about to make redundant that he cannot possibly help said priest get a new post because bishops don't work like that anymore.

Later that year the same certain bishop sends an email to the clergy of the diocese stating that he is about to get a new assistant bishop. He also states in the email that he will be arranging for the new bishop's wife to obtain gainful employment within the diocese as soon as possible. This is a promise he immediately and successfully delivers on.

  1. Make that “episcopal” w/ a small e.

[But you’re saying this bishop had integrity until then?! Huh.]
