Well, three out of five isn’t bad, Ann.
Why “Roman” Catholic but not “Eastern” Orthodox?
All the other chalices are on the table but not in the shot.
Mind that the wine doesn’t end up in the Baptist or Methodist chalices (Though most Methodists would not mind, I’m sure, if it did.)!
KJ, the Baptists will not all drink out of that one chalice, they will insist on trays of itty, bitty cups. WITH GRAPEJUICE.
We call them “shot glasses”, Dahveed.
Gotta agree w/ Anon here: it SHOULD be “Eastern Orthodox.”
Methodists do not use the common cup – could you insert a tray of little cups please? We don’t like to pick up other people’s germs.
This is going to turn into the Last Supper/Breakfast and lunch the following day at this rate. Poor Jesus.
Chris, the Episcopal Church has done more than one study on that topic and determined that parishioners are in little to no danger from the Common Cup.
And there’s always intinction if you’re really concerned 🙂
