I couldn't find a photograph of Roman Catholic badgers.
But here's a photo of two TEC badgers having fun 🙂

  1. The first Europeans to settle in Wisconsin were Cornish lead miners. Originally, some of them and their families literally lived in caves as well as in the underground mines. They came to be called “Badgers”.

So Wisconsin Badgers have nothing to do with those black-and-white brocks you feature today.

You got any pictures of Cornish miners?

(I’m Wisconsin-born and bred and in my 78 years I have never seen a badger in Wisconsin.)
