A group is looking for a new church after it was ordered by the San Antonio Archdiocese to stop hosting a weekly Mass for gay and transgender Catholics. In a letter dated Oct. 13, Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Cantu ordered the liturgies to end at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Oct. 18. Dignity/San Antonio, an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Catholics, had been holding weekly masses at the church for the last 15 years.
Fred Anthony Garza, president of Dignity/San Antonio, said Sunday that members of the group are in shock. But on Sunday, Dignity/San Antonio held a service in absence of a priest at Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church.
COMMENT: That's the spirit. Sod him. He's just getting his kicks in before the new bloke arrives and he's back to being a pretend bishop again.
You'll have to work the title of this post out for yourself as even giving you clues might get me into trouble.
