  1. I’m so pleased you ran something on Tony Curtis and especially that there is a clip of Some Like It Hot to go with it, Mad Priest 🙂

  2. No, course I’m not surprised. But very pleased to see it. He was more beautiful in Spartacus (and I love that scene where Laurence Olivier has a go at wooing him, it’s fabulous), but he was never so funny and brilliant as he was in Some Like It Hot.

  3. Shalom indeed. And thanks, MP, for the clip of Tony in “Some Like It Hot” — one of the most memorable performances in film history, in what’s considered the greatest film comedy (from the U.S., at least) of all time.

  4. what’s considered the greatest film comedy (from the U.S., at least) of all time.

I wouldn’t argue with that, Doug. In fact, it’s on my profile as one of my favourite films.

Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe. Has any film ever surpassed such eye candy?
