NAME THAT (FAMOUS COMEDIAN’S SIGNATURE) TUNE

This is Edwin Birdsong from 1979 with a tune called "Lollipop."

I don't know, it sort of reminds me of a later famous tune and I bet its composer earned a lot more out of his version than Mr Birdsong ever got from his. Of course, I could be wrong.

  1. Jonathan, I thought that your offering was another version of “Lollipop” by the Chordettes, but no. I listened to the Chordettes’ version, and it now seems chock full of double entendres, which I did not pick up on way back when. And they looked like such nice girls.

Of course, I could be wrong.
