THE MIDNIGHT JUKEBOX

I found some of these records whilst excavating the site
on top of Helvellyn, in the English Lake District, where
Noah's Ark came to rest. Hence, they are a wee bit old
and scratchy to say the least. But then, so are quite a few
of you and you're still worth listening to.
I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU- SOUTHSIDE MOVEMENT
CAN YOU SEE (YOU DOIN' ME WRONG)- TOWER OF POWER
HEAD OVER HEELS- CHUCK BRIDGES & THE L.A. HAPPENING
GEE BABY GEE- THE BUTTERFLYS
I CAN'T BREAK THE HABIT- LEE GARRETT
MY HEART REMEMBERS- SPIDER & THE PLAYBOYS
THE ANSWER CAME TOO LATE- DON JULIAN & THE LARKS
LA LA MEANS I LOVE YOU- RAY, GOODMAN & BROWN
THE WALK- LEE HARBAUGH
IN GOOD FAITH- NORMAN A. HARRIS

  1. I’d love to see a credit to the great graphic artist, whose work has graced your last few Soul playlists. [Work looks so familiar, but name escapes me!]

I again want to remember in prayer, the repose of the soul of my aunt, Vennecia Hutcherson Peeke (who died two days ago). She was in the R&B scene in Philly and NYC (in the 1950s and 60s). She was Soul (and forever more, still is: RIP).

  2. Love these records.

Sorry to hear about your recent troubles,MadPriest.I’m fairly new to the site and don’t go on the computer much so I don’t know much about your situation but it seems a real shame.

That’s what you get for being an old soulie.
